My first attempt, I was right at the finish line when I ran out of time. The final attempt, I still had a good 23% left on the countdown when i succeeded. Very fun game!

this game was extremely fun, could you add some more content after the game to play  through so i don't have to restart to play more

Very fun game! I wonder how much more stressful that ending would feel if the timer was still there. It's hard to feel much of consequences when it's just actually always beneficial to do the thing, despite the warnings.

I think my favorite mechanic was antimatter. It's a pretty cool mechanic, and I'm surprised by how little I was ever actually waiting on antimatter. Though I can't judge the left side that well because obviously doing a side is going to be way different if you do it first compared to second, and I went right first. The left feels slightly too standardized for it to really feel interesting imo; I think it would've been better if the different plants at least costed different resources.

Awesome game!! I couldn't drop it until I finished it.
Very nice job, the progress and grind was worthwhile, the dialog was spot on and there was a good amount of thought provoking puzzles too.

Awesome!

Hello, thanks for the very positive comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Managed to get all the way to the end, but I can't figure out how to increase storage space significantly for flux. Dimensional storages seem to cap out at a certain point and hyperflux collection tends to lag behind a ton, even considering when you sacrifice every other planet for the boost. Am I missing something here?

Hey, thanks for playing!

I can't fully tell the issue from the screenshot, but generally, as the boosts from the Dimensional Storage multiply the capacity of all your storage facilities, you might simply need to build more of those, like the Foundation Stockpile for Flux. As for Hyperflux, based on your screenshot, you should be good!

The issue lies in the fact that with each subsequent 'Dimensional Storage' building placed, lies storage space space with increasingly diminishing gains. I have over 100 of those built and yet every single one only contributes 0.1 or 0.2% of the way there.

In general, it feels like I'm soft-capped by how much flux and/or storage space I can have due to being limited by hyperflux production also significantly stagnating.

The stellar cache asymptote was also really painful to run into. You barely need one of those until this section, and having to suddenly catch up & build dozens was tedious. Frankly, the ending being so out of sync with the rest of the game thematically makes it very jarring to suddenly run into this race to click around and add hundreds of structures. Please reconsider the balance curve at the end. There's no other timed segments like this in the game, and this one was not a welcome sight. The rest of the game is a LOT of fun, and there's a lot of good stuff in here!

Hey!

I can see how the ending might feel like a bit of a departure from the main game. My intention was to give a sense of urgency and of a desperate push to escape, but NOT to actually make the ending difficult, frustrating, or overly time-constrained. But I might have missed the mark a bit. Thanks for the feedback here!

As for the "Stellar Cache", I'm a bit confused unfortunately. In my test run, I only needed to build a single one of those. Did you perhaps mean the "Star Ash Capture Mesh", so the buildings that produce "Stellar Remnant"? I can see how that might be a bit frustrating, so I've reduced the resource requirements here.

I've updated the game (v1.1.0) which softens the curve of the resource requests towards the end and removes the timer from the ending sequence, to keep it a bit more in line with the rest of the game.

I've replicated your game from your screenshot a bit more in detail and I believe you've missed that you still need to build storage facilities ("Foundation Stockpile", "Technological Depot", "Spiritual Repository", "Stellar Cache") besides the "Dimensional Storage", as the "Dimensional Storage" only multiplies the capacity of the others.

From your storage numbers, it seems that you currently do not have any of those on Noxu-b, nor anywhere else. So currently your dimensional storages are multiplying only the base capacity of 10, instead of the e.g. 200k Flux from the "Foundation Stockpile". If you build one of those, your storage capacity should be more than sufficient. You definitely shouldn't need that many "dimensional storages", around 5 should be good. Please tell me if that resolves your issue!

However, I see that this might not have been communicated well by the game. I've updated it (v1.1.0) and adjusted the wording on the Dimensional Storage. I've also adjusted the ending sequence in general.

I had retried it by putting down other storage spaces and that had appeared to fix the issue. Thanks!

Also, you were not wrong in setting a timer to induce a tense and stressful finality. Personally, I think you need to re-add the timer as all the stress I felt before evaporated upon seeing that I had no time-wall and could quite literally ignore the research speed upgrade if I wanted to with little to no consequence. It keeps the pace just enough to where I'm not going to just sit around and watch it cap out.

I've completed the first anomaly project but I'm stuck on the next two as I'm missing the last material for both. I've researched everything I can and explored what I can. I can't link to the next stars because I don't have any crystals. Am I missing something or have I softlocked myself?

Hey, thanks for checking out the game!

I believe you might have tried to expand into both the Wex and Epli System at the same time. You will have to choose one path. To get the strange crystal shards, you can demolish the Long-Range Comet Rail Nodes connecting one of those systems. That will refund the crystals and allow you to explore further at the other system.

(Also, I didn't see that your post was pending review, sorry for the delay!)

Thanks, I got an error while posting so I hadn't realised the comment even posted. I figured out about having to go one way then the other and I've just got the final project to finish.

Absolutely delightful game. I'm stuck unable to figure out how to make antimatter, but I've had a great time playing so far!

Hey, thanks for playing, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

If you need a hint regarding antimatter, take a close look at the Orvel System, you might be missing an object close to the black hole. You should also be able to use the button with the binoculars at the top right to locate it.

If you have already found it, you will likely need to progress the research tree further, look above the "Long-Range Comet Rail Node" project. This should lead you to the buildings and unlocks you will need.

Thanks! That is a tiny object next to a large black hole. :) I totally missed it.

The zoom is almost unbearably sensitive on touchpad

Hello, thanks for giving the game a try!

I've updated the game with a new setting in the pause menu to adjust the zoom sensitivity, I hope that helps!

Minor localization issue: Polax-c has part of its description in German.  Happens with both the initial scan window, and the description at the top of the building menu (seen below).  Mild spoilers for partway through the game, of course.

Hello, thanks for playing and reporting the issue!

I've updated the game, so it should now display the correct English text.

... apologies for the troll.  They've been following me around itch.io ever since my involvement in their meltdown on another game's comment section.  Feel free to read about it here (though be warned, the game in question is decidedly NSFW).

Great game

I really enjoy it so far. At the moment i am stuck because i would need to get Spiritual Satin. Any pointers what i might be missing :)

I've got all the products including the tesseract matrix and finished the trees alpha, delta, gamma but can't find anything else which could give me the spiritual satin. :(

Hey, thanks for playing the game!

As for Spiritual Satin, you will need to build Satin Weavers, which can be unlocked in the research tree (between the Resin Mixer and Incense Mortar) after finding a specific location while exploring Orah-d-Beta. Make sure you've checked every path in the exploration dialog, you might need to click "Leave" to explore other locations.

Thanks for the reply :)

Some very pleased gameplay, a hint of critique ;)

Hey, thanks a lot for playing and making a video!

I've really enjoyed watching you go through the beginning of the  game. I'm super glad you are enjoying the story, especially because there is a lot more in the game to uncover!

Doesn't seem to work on Chrome 137:

Scene 'CrashScreen' couldn't be loaded because it has not been added to the active build profile or shared scene list or the AssetBundle has not been loaded.

WebPublish.framework.js.br:9 InvalidOperationException: Cannot resolve Research/ArcCollider.Repair of type ResearchProjectDefinition.

Hello, thank you for giving the game a try!

I've checked the game with different up-to-date browsers (Chrome 152/Firefox/Edge/Opera/Brave) and even an old matching version of a chromium 137 browser and unfortunately can't reproduce it.

Perhaps you can try to update your browser and/or check if there might be something that could block the network requests to load the game data?

If you have any other info that could help me diagnose, I'd be glad to look into it more!
